Today is Presidents Day, it has been a holiday for both of us.   In honor of it being presidents day, I want to direct your attention to learning for a few.  This page http://www.enchantedlearning.com/history/us/pres/list.shtml
gives you a list of all the presidents and vice presidents past.  It is kind of cool to look at and know the past. It is my little shout out to the past presidents.  That is the reason for this holiday I think.

Today I slept in and went grocery shopping.  I also did the laundry and hung the clothes.  I walked the dog to the mailboxes and then back home.  I am making re-fried beans again, they are cooling now so I can blend them up.  I plan on making granola bars for breakfasts next week and mixing up hot chocolate for drinking here.  Busy day but much is done.

I have not done my bible study yet this week but it is something I want to finish.  There is two storms heading this week next week.  It is to rain/snow tonight, Tuesday and night, Wednesday, calm Wednesday night, chance again, Thursday, Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, Saturday night, then next Sunday is to be calm again.  I hope we get some "real" snow.  We have not had a foot or more this year yet.  We need more snow.  I know it is becoming cold again up here but will this series of storms be wet enough to make much snow.  This year has been too dry which means a tough fire season.  I would rather have the wet.  Hope this is the week it happens.
