California Classic 2015

I ran the California classic on 3/15/15 just two weeks after running the Heavenly Half marathon.

The good news is due to the craziness, I am now a Half Maniac officially.  This race was almost entirely flat.  The heavenly half was not!  I thought I was totally recovered, I guess I was not.  I got the worse stomach cramps around mile 6. I was hanging with the 2:10 group until then which was good but there I stopped to go to the bathroom in the port - a potties and ended up with the 2:30 group for a while.  Then for the second half of the race I tried to catch back up the 2:10 group which I never did since I passed the finish with the 2:20 group.   The day was very warm, The air quality was not very good either.  I did have to use my inhaler sometime around mile 8 since I couldn't stop hyperventilating

 I got place 510 of 1187 people who ran the half marathon.  Still in the earlier half. I was number 22 out of 94 women between 40 and 49.  

This run did not give away photos and I can't take the photos they got.  None of my friends got a photo of me this time either so there are no photos of me on this blog post.  

I will be running more half marathons this year but I think I need to space them out more.  

This race got me into the Half Fanatics, I am number 11498 and I only paid for 2015.  I think I will get a new number 
in 2016

Next half marathon is April 11 of this year.
